Meet the Maidmans Marquees Team, we thought you might like to know a little more about the people you are dealing with and put a face to a name…
First to introduce is David Brooker, Co-owner and Director
David Brooker Maidman’s MarqueesDavid and wife Verity bought Maidman’s Marquees in 2012. With a wealth of experience from a career in engineering management roles both within the automotive industry and testing arena, David got to the point in his life when he was looking to do something ‘totally different’ (some would call this a mid-life crisis!).
David led the company’s move to its current base in Verwood in 2013 and continues to streamline our operational procedures. His ultimate goal is to make our installations quicker, safer and always looking fantastic. If there’s a tricky job to be done or a particularly challenging site, David will always try and find an innovative way to create the perfect marquee venue.
A marquee man by day and rock star by evening, David is lead guitarist and vocalist for party band with a difference, The Rookies. He is also a keen skier, having only taken up skiing 4 years ago, and remarkably still has the use of all four limbs! David and Verity have five children with three teenage sons still living at home, as well as the family dog, a cockapoo called Frodo.
